Comfy with good brekkie but the staff weren’t the best
Position was great just a few minutes walk from the pier. Clean and lots of facilities. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful with lots of choice. Big room that was comfortable and clean with good shower and bath.
The indoor spaces were too warm. Late check in time 4pm seemed late and being charged for early room entry. The reception staff were trying their best to get early entry fees out of you with conflicting reasoning. Made you feel like you were just there to spend extra cash depending on who was serving you. Serving staff in the bar and breakfast were not friendly. The room although comfy had nowhere by the sink to hang hand towels nor were there glasses in there either.

Good
We loved the pool area although if you're bringing a dog, be aware that you can't even sit near the outdoor pool with the dog. Children also HAVE to swim with an adult. Breakfast was nice and the front reception staff were really friendly. Location is what wins this hotel - a lovely walk down to the beach front and into town. You can see the sea from your bedroom if you're lucky and it was lovely and quiet at night. Complimentary water and fruit available all day in reception. Seating around the hotel was lovely and cosy. I didn't use the restaurant but looked nice.
The bar area feels really cheap. We kept accidentally knocking our table because they're really light. (They're plasticy material). We took the dog so had to sit here and it didn't have a nice feel. Dinner wasn't great but when complaining the staff were really understanding and apologetic. There are parts of the hotel that are really dated and need updating.
